The Second Race of CSBK Zhuhai Round:Zongshen Wins the Championship in Advance Author: chinamotor - Source:CHINAMOTOR     Font size: A A A 150cc Public Group: Cai Ziyang Wins at the Last Minute  The second round of the 150cc Public Group began at 1:30 pm on 25th. As soon as the race started, Yuan Jibo quickly gained the first place just like what he did in the first round. But he didn't take the lead for long as Bi Jianbin overtook him after a lap with the advantage of Loncin racing bike on straight circuit. The situation seemed to get worse when Yuan Jibo hit the rear wheel of Bi Jianbin's racing bike as he was overtaking; both of them fell to the ground and Yuan Jibo paid his price for being rash. Then the race was developed into a competition among Cai Ziyang, Zhou Hangkai and Peng Yong. The race was extraordinarily breathtaking as overtaking and being overtaken went on and on. The competition among the three of them lasted till the last lap; eventually, Cai Ziyang took the crown of the second round with just 0.152 second early than Peng Yong; Zou Hangkai ranked third as he had problems with his racing bike at the last stage of the race.   GP125 Group: Zeng Jianhang Wins the Second Championship  The second round of GP125 Group began; Zhang Hailong and Hu Zhaoneng were in the lead with their Lingken racing bikes and Zeng Jianhang of the Zongshen Racing Team and He Zixian of the Jinlong Shenli Racing Team were left behind. Three laps later, Zhang Hailong was already 3 seconds faster than the others whereas Hu Zhaoneng was caught up by Zeng Jianhang, He Zixian and Zhou Youyao. Half way through the race, He Zixian and Hu Nengzhao were gradually left behind, Zeng Jianhang and Zhou Youyao managed to catch up with Zhang Hailong who was taking the lead; a fierce competition began among them. In the last two laps, Zeng Jianhang was going faster and faster to take the crown, a competition for the runner-up between Zhang Hailong and Zhou Youyao reached a climax. At last, Zheng Jianhang, Zhang Hailong and Zhou Youyao became the top three winners.   SS600cc Group: Zongshen Wins Group Championship in Advance  In the SS600cc Group race, the question 'Can Yamaha beat Zongshen's monopoly of the championship?' remained a topic. Zhenshen had proved its strength in the first round; can Yamaha fight back in the second round? The good start of Yamaha team gave them confidence to fight back, but the experienced He Zhifeng still managed to defend Zongshen's crown. One lap later, Zhou Haoyun, Wang Zhu, Xiao Jin and Li Zhengpeng ranked second to fifth respectively; the battle of Zongshen and Yamaha began. In the third lap, a competition among Zhou Haoyun, Wang Zhu and Li Zhengpeng commenced. There was only a less than 0.1 second's gap among them and they gave a beautiful performance by overtaking one another. In the seventh lap, Li Zhengpeng and Wang Zhu overtook Zhou Haoyun in turn; Zongshen's three riders were in the lead again. The last stage of the race was not quite exciting with He Zhifeng's easily winning his second individual championship here; Li Zhengpeng and Wang Zhu came second and third respectively; Zongshen's riders won the top three places again and showed their great strength. Zhou Haoyun, Xiao Jin and Haojue's Zhang Wei'an came fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. Zongshen Racing Team has already taken the crown of the 2009 CSBK SS600cc group race final championship with its excellent performance in this round.
